About Platform One 
Platform One is a well established Before and After School club and is celebrating its 10th Birthday this year. 

Since its opening back in April 2000, it has been enjoyed by numerous children and parents alike. We offer quality child care with trained, experienced staff in a homely and friendly atmosphere.
Children are encouraged to experience all aspects of creative play and are given opportunity to develop their social skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Parents are welcome to visit the club to join in the ‘Platform One Experience’

Holiday Club

Children who stay for a full day will need to bring a packed lunch.

We provide healthy snacks and drinks throughout the day, but children may bring their own snack if they prefer.

We like to take advantage of the local environment and trips to nearby Ferry Meadows are planned whenever possible.

We occasionally organise trips further afield e.g. Wicksteed Park. There is an additional charge for such events.

Morning    =  8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Afternoon  = 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Our Ofsted URN [Unique Registration Number] is 110893.  

Parents claiming Tax Credits will need this number for their forms.

Payment of fees can be made by cash, cheque or through their employers via direct payment schemes which are part of the Governments childcare initiative.

Throughout the sessions, children may have supervised access to the internet.

Activities are child initiated with adults supporting and providing supervision.

We like to make outdoor play part of the children's daily routine at Platform One.
