Here at Orton Wistow Primary School, we recognise that success comes in all different shapes and sizes! We celebrate the children's achievements in school in the Achievements section of the newsletter and website.
Many of the children, however, are also achieving things outside of school. We would like to recognise these successes too.
It might be that your child has passed a music or dance exam, gained a karate belt, starred in a show, volunteered, taken part in a sporting event, or done something that they didn't think was possible!
If you would like to share your child's achievements with us so that we can celebrate their success, please complete the Celebrating Success form which can also be found below. Contributions will be considered for inclusion in upcoming editions of the newsletter.
We look forward to hearing about your children's extracurricular achievements!
This Week's Successes!
This child from Giraffes, completed a Walk For Autism challenge. She walked 92,000 steps to raise awareness for Autism for her brother Rhys, before the Easter break. She also raised a whopping £888 for this amazing cause. What an achievement!

Please see below the PE timetable for the first half of the summer term.
You can now find useful parent guides for a variety of apps and games on our school website, by going to Parents > Online Safety and scrolling to the bottom. Here is an example of what it looks like:

We are pleased to offer for sale Mrs Cooper's Legendary Recipes cookbook. Alot of these recipes have stood the test of time, as some are still used by the kitchen staff at OWPS today.
You can pick up a copy for £5 from the school office and all money raised will go to Sue Ryder, who were a great support to Audrey.

Second Hand Uniform Rail
The FOWS team would like to remind you of the second-hand uniform rail that is placed in the school reception. If you need a branded/unbranded uniform, then it is a great way to pick some up. A donation of £1 is asked for each item.
It has also been requested to see if anyone has any branded uniform in the ages 7-8 and 9-10 that they can donate. Please hand it into the school office if you do so!
Thanks
The FOWS Team
