    Here is a piece of work by Ziba in the Toucans from our Reading Lessons. We had been studying the life of Harriet Tubman and read a book about her from the 'Little People, Big Dreams' series. Each child was then presented with this artistic mural and had to interpret and respond to the piece. Ziba has really thought carefully about this image and used some powerful phrases to express her thoughts.

    Antoni from the Sharks created a playing card with mixed media using a combination of collage, pencil, charcoal, tissue paper and paint.  He included a picture of his head as a substitute for the King. The artwork is linked to our British Monarchy topic.

    Lily from the Wombats has produced a detailed explanation about how we multiply numbers by 10, 100 and 1000.  She then completed a challenge to show her understanding in her maths journal of our Multiplication and Division unit of work this week.
