New OWPS Clubs

Find out how you can apply for your child to have a FREE place on an OWPS in-school club...

OWPS Clubs

OWPS has offered extra-curricular opportunities for many years and they are a great way of allowing children to experience something a little different and outside the expectations of the National Curriculum. Covid, unfortunately, put a stop to such clubs in the last year, but we are delighted to begin offering clubs run by staff members again.

We are grateful to all the staff that are giving up their time to run a club this term. Please encourage your children to join a club this term, it may well spark a new interest or unlock a hidden talent!

Below is a list of clubs offered for each Key Stage in the Autumn Term:

How to Apply

Although there is a lot on offer, it is possible that the children won’t get their first choice and so it is important for them to select more than one if possible. There is also the chance they could get a place in two clubs if spaces are available in two of their choices.

Please click on the relevant link to complete the form for your child’s club choices by Tuesday 21st September 2021:

Years 1 and 2 Clubs Form

Years 3 and 4 Clubs Form

Years 5 and 6 Clubs Form

Clubs will start the week beginning 27th September. The last club sessions will be during the week beginning 29th November. PLEASE SUBMIT THIS FORM BY TUESDAY 21st September AT THE LATEST.  YOU WILL BE INFORMED WHICH CLUB(S) YOUR CHILD HAS BEEN ALLOCATED BY END OF THE SCHOOL DAY FRIDAY 24th September.

Attending Clubs

If your child gets a place in a club they are expected to turn up each week on time and with the correct kit/equipment (if necessary).

If for some reason they are unable to attend a session we expect you to contact the school and let the office know so the adult running the session knows who is attending on that day. If you wish to withdraw your child from a club please inform the member of staff in writing so that they can be removed from the club register.

The adult running the club will always do their best to make sure it can go ahead each week the clubs are scheduled for. On the odd occasion when they can’t and no other member of staff can cover the session we will let you know as soon as possible.
