Dear Parents/Carers,
As we reach the end of another academic year, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on what has been another extraordinary time at Orton Wistow. This past week, we were proud to present the Year 6 production, which was nothing short of phenomenal. The children delivered a confident and polished performance that showcased their talents and hard work. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who came to support this wonderful event, as well as to the Year 6 team, whose dedication and tireless efforts have truly made this performance a success. Hard work, certainly pays off!
Looking ahead, the final two days of the term will provide our children with enjoyable activities as they bid farewell to their current year and prepare for the new adventures that lie ahead. We will also take a moment to say goodbye to some valued staff members and our Year 6 pupils, who will soon transition to secondary school in September. Please join me in wishing them all the very best as they embark on this exciting next chapter in their educational journey.
Finally, the summer break is almost here and I would like to wish the entire OWPS community a wonderful, restful, and enjoyable time with your families. It is important to take this opportunity to relax and recharge so that we may return invigorated for what promises to be another successful year ahead. We look forward to welcoming all students back in September, but for now ‘Happy Holiday!’
Thank you once again for your continued support and involvement within our school community.
Miss R Tansley
