A Message from OWPS

Our Assistant Headteacher, Miss Tansley writes...

Dear Parents and Carers,

What a wonderful, final week of November we’ve had in school! The children continue to amaze us with their enthusiasm, teamwork, and love of learning, and we’re delighted to share some of this week’s highlights and some of the exciting events to come.

Thank You to Our Y3 Families!

A huge thank you to all the parents and family members who attended the Year 3 Family Learning session. It is always such a pleasure to welcome you into school and share the fantastic learning happening in the classroom. The children were incredibly proud to show you their work, and your support helps make these sessions extra special. We hope you enjoyed being part of their learning journey. This was the final Family Learning session of the year, with 2Can Learn still to come for Years 1-6 in the new year.

Looking Ahead to December

As we step into December next week, the school is beginning to feel wonderfully festive. We have lots to look forward to. Our youngest children will perform their Nativity to both the school and their families and have been practising with great enthusiasm. It already sounds very polished.

FOWS Christmas Fair – Friday 5th December
We are thrilled to be hosting our FOWS Christmas Fair once again - a much-loved event that always brings our school community together. The fair often raises an impressive amount for the school, and we hope many of you will join us for a festive afternoon.  Doors will open at 3:30pm to allow staff time to set up their stalls after the school day. Please bring plenty of change, as there will be lots of games, crafts, and treats to enjoy!

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We wish you a restful weekend and look forward to a joyful start to December!
