    Key Sports Coaching Christmas Holiday Half Term Sports Camps 2025 have now been confirmed at Nene Park Academy!

    Nene Park Academy PE2 7EA

    Monday 22nd December – Tuesday 23rd December

    9.30am-3.30pm (Early drop off and late pick up available 8.30am-4.30pm)

    Boys and girls aged 4-12. (Incudes Year 7 Children)

    Lots of sports and games!

    Led by experienced coaches. Indoor and Outdoor Venue.

    Trophies and medals to be won!

     

    These Sports Camps are Nut Free so please do not pack any food containing Nuts.

  • Norwich City Football Development - Girls Open Football Trials Year 4 - Year 10 14.11.25

    Dear Parent and guardians,

     

    Please see details of an exciting opportunity for female footballers in school year 4-10 to attend a free trial training session at one of our player development centres in the Wisbech area. If your daughter is passionate about football, dedicated to improving, and wants to be part of a professional development programme, this is the opportunity for her.

     

    Players on our programmes pay a small fee to take part in the programme but receive the following benefits:

    • Take part in weekly training sessions delivered by our UEFA qualified coaches, we pride ourselves on sessions being both educational and enjoyable for our players

    • Train with highly talented players to develop skills and tactical understanding.

    • The opportunity to progress within the clubs development pathway.

    • Full Norwich City Training kit included.

    • The opportunity to travel on residential training trips.

    • Take part in fixtures against other development programmes.

  • Nessie Peterborough Parent Group - Supporting Children Struggling to Attend School 14.11.25

    Nessie are launching a 12 wk parent/carer programme for Peterborough, starting on Monday 24th November 7-8.45pm.

    The aim of the programme is to give parents and carers, whose children and young people are struggling to attend school, the opportunity to connect with others in similar situations. 

    Together you can discuss concerns, challenges and problem solve in a supportive non judgemental environment. 

    Nessie ran the programme earlier this year and it was a huge success.

    Just a reminder that individual gifts or items, as well as filled boxes can be dropped off into the collection boxes in the school reception between now and Friday November 14th 2025.

  • YDP-Cheerleading Club

    YDP are introducing a brand new Cheerleading Club.

    The sessions introduce children to the exciting world of Cheerleading, helping them develop a strong foundation and understanding of the sport.

    Cheerleading combines elements of gymnastics, stunting, and dance - and contrary to popular belief, it doesn’t involve pom-poms! It’s a fantastic way for children to express themselves, showcase their energy, and build confidence in a fun, supportive environment.

    The sessions will be led by Coach Georgia, a qualified BGU Cheer coach with a Level 3 Extended Certificate in Sport and Physical Activity.
