School Disco!

On Thursday 22nd May, FOWS is holding their summer school disco. If the weather stays as nice as we've seen recently, then this will take place on the school playground. Drop off will be at the main playground gate, and collection will be from the back door of the school hall through the P1 gate. Children will need to register with school staff on arrival. (Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2: 4.30–5.30pm and Years 3, 4, 5 and 6–5.45–7.00pm)

We've discussed how to speed up entry, and after successfully introducing the card readers back in February, we are excited to announce that this time it will also be possible to pay in advance via ParentMail as well as by cash or card on the door.

At our FOWS meetings, we've been trying to come up with some new entertainment ideas for the children to do during the Disco. You may recall, we had glow sticks for sale last time, and while that was great in the winter, this time it will take place in the daylight, so instead we've come up with some exciting additions to the Disco format, but no spoilers. You'll need to come along and see for yourselves. These will be included in the cost, along with a snack and a drink.

Donation Day

Please note a change of date for Donation Day from originally listed in the school diary. The final donation day of this school year will take place on Friday 6th June. The children will be allowed to wear a t-shirt of their choice with their normal school bottoms (or PE kit if it's your PE day) to school in exchange for bringing a bottle donation for our Summer Fair. As usual, please give these to our volunteers on the playground before school. A box will also be left with P1 staff for children attending breakfast club.
