In maths this week, the Penguins and Turtles have been recognising and ordering numbers. We built Numberblock towers, creating a staircase pattern, noticing that each step was one more than the last. We took turns to hide a tower and work out which was missing, using the sentence stem e.g. “4 is missing because 4 is one more than 3.”
