Mr Marks, the Deputy Headteacher, writes...

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back, everyone! I hope you all had an enjoyable break and made the most of the glorious weather over the Easter weekend. I managed to squeeze in two BBQs and spend a lot of time outside. I hope like me, you are ready for our final term of the year.

It was a great way to start this half-term, welcoming parents in for our two Honours awards assemblies on Wednesday. We have been looking forward to seeing families back inside the building, and I know the children and family members felt a tremendous amount of PRIDE seeing the chosen children receive their certificates in front of the school.

Next Wednesday we will see many of our Year Four children and staff from the school head out on our third residential of the year to Grafham Water. I took a group of children on this trip a few years ago, and they had a brilliant time. I'm sure they are already feeling excited about it, I know the staff are.

Have a lovely weekend.

Mr Marks

Deputy Headteacher
