Mr Marks, the Headteacher, writes....

Dear parents and carers,

We have reached the end of the Spring One half term and are now halfway through this academic year already. We have finished this half term with some great events and activities this week including the Year One assembly, the Year Six trip to Blethcley Park and the Year Three 2CanLearn session.

Book Week - Monday 4th March

Although a few weeks away, we are already getting excited for our upcoming Book Week event in school. Our assemblies will focus on this theme and all classes will take part in a range of book related activities throughout the week and on Thursday 7th March we will celebrate 'World Book Day!' Children and staff can wear fancy dress on that day, choosing to dress as a character from one of their favourite books. Also on the Thursday, children can come back to school at 5pm for our Bedtime Stories event. More information about these events will be sent home after half term and we will ask you to let us know if your child(ren) will be returning to school for the Bedtime Stories session.

Open Day

We are looking forward to seeing lots of you come in to school for our Open Day on Wednesday 28th February. Details about this event were sent home last week and you can book a time to visit with your child(ren) on SchoolCloud.

A Sad Goodbye

Today we have said goodbye to Mrs. Hall who is leaving us to take up a new and exciting post at another school in Peterborough. Mrs. Hall has been a midday supervisor, a teaching assistant and a member of the SEND team whilst working at the school and I know she will be missed by the staff and children. We all wish her the very best of luck in her new role.

I hope you all have a lovely half term break and I look forward to seeing you back in school on Monday 26th February.

Mr. Marks
