This week, we created some artwork using the leaves we collected last week. We carefully decided how best to arrange them on the page. Inspired by Andy Goldsworthy, the children have produced some lovely and thoughtful pieces of work.
In the Koalas class, Erin has written some lovely sentences using verbs, adjectives and nouns.
In English, the Foxes have been reading Lost in the Toy Museum. Saule has written some sentences about the pictures in the story, remembering her capital letters, finger spaces and full stops.

In the Penguins class this week, we have been learning about lifecycles. Shriyan has used his phonics to write a sentence about the lifecycle of a butterfly.
In the Wombats this week we wrote fantastic poems about the seaside.

This week, we learned about Easter and how Christians celebrate Easter. We created wooden Easter crosses to remind us of the Easter Story. We learned how to safely use a saw to cut wood and practiced hammering a nail to join the pieces together. This is Aaliyah's brilliant cross!
