FOWS News 19.09.25

A big welcome back from the FOWS team. We've already hit the ground running, gathering resources for our Christmas events at the end of the term.

AGM and new volunteers 

Our first notable event is our AGM, which will be held on Tuesday 14th October, 7.00pm start, at the school. During this meeting, we give feedback over the last year and vote in the team of committee officials who will be responsible for the running FOWS in this coming academic year.

As well as the elected officials, the FOWS team also needs the support of volunteers, including the committee members. Sadly, without volunteers, FOWS would be unable to run the events we do, and raise the money needed by the school to enrich your children's education and experiences.

We encourage new faces to come along to our AGM and have a look at what we do and how we run, welcoming all members of the school community. We will even bring snacks for everyone!

Raffle Prizes and Match Funding 

Do you work for a company that offers Match Funding for fundraising events? Please get in touch with us.

We are starting to round up prizes for the Christmas Raffle. If you have anything to offer that we could include in the raffle, please contact us. The raffle will be held at the Christmas Fair on 5th December, but we need to have our top 3 prizes in place by October half term.

Our first donation day will be 24.10.25, we will be collecting bottles. More information will be available nearer the time.
