AGM feedback
I would like to open by saying a massive thank you to all the new faces that turned up at our AGM this week.
The election results for the committee were as follows:
Chair - Jemma Wilkins (Parent of child in Year 3, 2nd year in post)
Vice-Chair - Michelle Owen (Parent of child in Year 3, 2nd year in post)
Treasurer - Mark Tomlinson (Parent of child in Year 4, 1st year in post)
Secretary - Hannah Bass (Parent of children in Year 4 and Year 2, 4th year in post)

Donation Day
The first donation day of this academic year will be held on Friday 24th October. For those new to the school or unfamiliar with the concept, we ask you to bring in items that FOWS can use for the Christmas Fair.
This time, we are asking for food and drink items for our house-coloured hampers (raffle prizes at the Christmas Fair), so please can you donate items in the same coloured packaging as your child's school house colours.
(Speak to your child's teacher to find out their house if you are unsure)
Useful items include:
Bottles/cans of fizzy, soft or alcoholic drinks,
Crisps
Sweets/chocolates
Biscuits
These items need to be unopened and have a use-by date of at least 2026. No fresh/frozen/chilled or perishable food please.
As a thank you for providing us with these items, your children are invited to dress in their house colours to school that day (non-uniform).

If anyone works, or visits anywhere that would be willing to donate a prize for our Christmas Raffle (to be held at the Christmas Fair) please contact one of the FOWS team or the school office.
