Heritage Open Days
FREE Heritage Open Days are taking place from 10th to 19th September 2021. Find out which heritage sites you can visit for free around the Peterborough Area.
What are the Heritage Open Days?
Heritage Open Days explain how the initiative came about:
Established in 1994, Heritage Open Days is England's contribution to the European Heritage Days and has since grown into the country's largest community heritage festival.
Every September thousands of volunteers across England organise events to celebrate our fantastic history and culture. It's your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – all of which are FREE to explore.
You can find out more and discover which sites are open all around England by visiting www.heritageopendays.org.uk.
