Hello. My name is Lucy. I was one of the children who went to Hilltop. Here is what happened on our amazing school trip.

Day 1

We came in like a normal school day but all the children who were going to Hilltop went into the Pandas classroom. It was crazy loud until Mrs Phillips announced that she needed to do the register. Soon, we were on the coach going to Hilltop. We arrived and started going to our rooms. We had a little bit of time in our rooms, and then we started our activities. First, we had archery. We played lots of fun archery games and I got a bullseye! All of our group got at least one arrow in the yellow section. Next, it was crates. There were 4 jobs which were climber, belayer 1, belayer 2, and builder. There were also 2 teams. The climber job looked scary, but it was actually really fun when you reached the top and got to ring the bell. We went back and had dinner after relaxing in the games' room for a while. Then, it was time to go to sleep ready for tomorrow's adventure.

Day 2

We woke up, got dressed, had some chill time in the games room and had breakfast. It was time to go on the Big Zipper. There were lots of fun jobs to try and, of course, we got to go on the massive zipline! For the first time you had to be clipped on your front but on the second time you were allowed to be clipped on your back. If you were on your back, you were allowed to do a pose like angel, butterfly or even superman! After that, we went back to the Seaview house and had lunch. Our next activity was Air jump where there were different levels you had to jump off and onto the massive bag. Once you had landed perfectly on 5, you could go onto level 7. I was one of the people who reached level 7 and there was only one person who managed level 8 as it was so high! Next, we had to go back and have dinner. We settled down, went back to our rooms, and soon we were fast asleep.

Day 3

This was our last day at Hilltop. We went upstairs and had breakfast. Our last activities were tree climbing and bushcraft. We started off with tree climbing. Before we started we had to put our harnesses on, and then we started climbing. Nearly everyone got to the top! When I reached the top, the instructor let me jump off the tree. Some people were too scared to jump off, so they just climbed back down. Bushcraft was next. We collected sticks and kindling, made a huge fire and toasted marshmallows. After bushcraft, we went back and collected our luggage ready to go. We got on the bus and said our last goodbyes to the place where all was fun, and we challenged ourselves by choice, to the place we call, Hilltop!
